About Me

Hi, my name is Mandy and I live in the beautiful state of Colorado. How do I adequately capture my life in a few paragraphs? Here goes nothing...I grew up in Maryland where Old Bay seafood seasoning was put on anything and everything. I graduated college with an Engineering degree and ended up working for the Aerospace Defense industry for over a decade which took me from MD to CO. In Colorado, outdoor adventures are amazing and luckily, I was able to snag an awesome husband there too so we were able to explore Colorado together.While that might sound like a happy ending in theory, life had other plans for me. Due to a chronic health condition, my husband, Eric, and I realized what is most important in life is enjoying what you do each and every day, having passion that motivates and inspires you to continue moving forward. For me, that passion comes from creating something beautiful that others can enjoy.Recently, Eric and I took a huge leap and left our careers. Being able to focus on my health and effective stress management has allowed me to embrace my creativity, and led me to the art of macrame.All of my pieces are handcrafted with love at my kitchen table in Longmont, Colorado.
